Tower 591

Tower 591 is a 12-story high-rise set in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. LPA was commissioned to do a major renovation of the building which included a new safer entry drive, exterior building enhancements, landscape and hardscape improvements, building lobby renovations, and a new café and fitness center. A reoccurring theme is the use of fins that pull you through the project from the entry drive by means of signage and graphics, to architectural detailing at the main entry, to the building lobby and café space. The materials and finishes used are both timeless and modern with shades of gray and rich wood with pops of color on furniture. The resulting design transformed the building putting it a different class from where it began.
