Versatile medical office building delivered on time and under budget
On a tight budget, designers worked with a small business owner to create a two-story, 20,000-square-foot medical office building with flexible spaces to support a hub of medical services. The second floor includes the owner’s dermatology practice, lab testing facilities and retail space with a small apartment for the owner. The ground floor serves as a new medical office hub for the region.
Every aspect of the project was designed around the owner’s budget and timeline. A tilt-up wall system cut construction time and saved materials. Windows and shades were strategically chosen and placed to efficiently create variety in the façade, while maximizing natural light into the building.
The project was completed in 11 months for 35% less than the average cost of other medical office buildings in the area.
