Mount Saint Mary's University Wellness Pavilion

Los Angeles, California

Mount Saint Mary’s University is located on a picturesque site with panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean and the coastlines of Santa Monica and Malibu. The new 35,000-square-foot Wellness Pavilion will be designed and constructed to replace insufficient and outdated facilities. Located on one of the highest areas of the campus, the two-story Wellness Pavilion will become a state-of-the-art destination for fitness, health and wellness activities. The project will support and complement the university’s commitment to its students’ academic and spiritual development, along with the pursuit of lifelong healthy habits.

The building will provide a memorable experience for students, using architecture and design to tell the story of its mission for health and wellness. The building will fit naturally and respectfully with its surroundings, staying true to a design based on technologies and materials of our time, and using form, color, texture and scale to establish a connection to the past, present and future of MSMU.
