Chaffey College Library / Learning Resource Center Criteria Documents

LPA collaborated with Chaffey College to develop Criteria Documents for a new three-story 76,000 square foot Library/Learning Commons replacement project. The project includes 55,060 assignable square feet and is intended to create a modern, culturally inclusive, and sustainable facility at the Rancho Cucamonga Campus. The project is centrally located near the new Campus Center, Student Services Building and Instructional Buildings. This new facility is envisioned as a flagship project that will provide active, experiential, and immersive learning environments that celebrate the uniqueness of Chaffey College as a leader in innovation.

LPA’s services included programming, space planning, site planning, conceptual design, design standards, commission plan, Owner Project Requirements (OPR) and cost estimates. The project is budgeted at $51.67M and will be designed and constructed utilizing a design-build delivery method. LPA’s services also include assisting the District during the design-build team RFQ/RFP selection phase and design-build oversight on behalf of the District during the design and construction phases.
