A Facility Designed for the Community
The West Hollywood Aquatic and Recreation Center reflects the city’s unique interests and aspirations, supporting everything from competitive dodgeball leagues to senior aquatics. The five-story facility suspends two pools above a gymnasium and creates new open space in a dense urban neighborhood. The project’s signature element is a sculptural grand stairway that connects the park level to the rooftop aquatic center and serves as a gathering spot and icon for the city.
In addition to honors for sustainable design and promoting health and wellness, WeHo ARC has earned accolades for its lighting design.
