The Palomar College Rancho Bernardo Education Center will be located in an existing approximately 110,000-sq.-ft. office building. The client asked LPA to re-image the campus to achieve a comprehensive educational center that reflects its surrounding environment. The existing office property consists of a four-story office building and a four-level parking garage on 26.99 acres of land. The education center will provide classrooms, lecture halls, science and computer laboratories, a library/resource center with an instructional support laboratory, a food court, IT space, faculty offices, administration offices and a student support services center that includes exam rooms and a pharmacy for student health services.
