A home-style design for a healthcare company
Landmark Health is a company that manages in-home patient healthcare; much of the design inspiration for its headquarters was derived from the qualities and elements of the home. Landmark wanted the space to feel comfortable, caring and welcoming with an elevated level of sophistication and excitement. This was achieved with a warm-finish palette of multiple textures and patterns, a mix of wood tones, a fresh color palette and lots of greenery.
The renovation included two existing partial-floor spaces and a new full-floor buildout. The reception area, divisible board room and large open break room are all located directly off the elevator lobby, creating a central zone of activity, while the meeting and open workspaces take advantage of the window lines and natural lighting.
The lobby features a custom wood coffered ceiling and a succulent signage wall with a reception desk inspired by mid-century furniture design. All of the millwork incorporates modern residential-style detailing and hardware.
Furniture was a key design element that added to the home-inspired concept. The ancillary pieces are a curated blend of textures and wood tones, while the highly functional workstations include height-adjustable work-surfaces, wood storage cabinets and smoked-glass accents.
The styling, graphics and artwork throughout the space bring additional elements of color and dimension, with references to Landmark’s proximity to the beach.
