LPA CEO Wendy Rogers and Design Director Jeremy Hart recently led a tour of the County of Orange’s new County Administration South building for teenagers in the America on Track mentor program. The $180 million, six-story building, which is scheduled for completion later this year, is across the street from the offices of the non-profit, which works with under-served children and families in the community.
“It was a great opportunity to take them inside the building they’ve seen under construction for the past year,” Rogers says. “The group has a powerful mission and all the employees clearly do this as a labor of love.”
The tour provided a glimpse inside the construction of the County Administration building, which will reshape how the county interacts with the public. The building, which is designed to reduce fossil fuel use by 70 percent, is part of the first phase of a 20-year master plan to reposition the County’s downtown real estate and customer service.
