Our designs should impact how people feel as they experience their surroundings. How engaged does the individual feel? What is their sense of belonging and security? Do they feel supported? A well-designed, sustainable environment encourages, engages and promotes a better user experience.
East Central High School's Performing Arts Center provides a professional-quality theater and rehearsal spaces that elevates their community. The design was inspired by the theater production process. All the production rooms in the 37,500-square-foot building—from costume design to scene creation—are arranged in a circle with broad windows, allowing students, parents and the community to get an up-close look at the behind-the-scenes activity.
