Saddleback High School Breaks Ground on New Sports Complex

Santa Ana Unified School District Board Members, LPA, Bernards Brothers Contractors, students, faculty and community members recently came together to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new LPA-designed sports complex for Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California.

The new complex will include an elite football and soccer stadium that will accommodate 3,000 fans, as well as a support building featuring a team room, concessions and ticketing. In addition to hosting soccer and football games, and track and field events, the complex will serve as an event space for the district to host graduations and other events.

LPA is a long-time partner of Santa Ana Unified School District. Over the past 20-plus years, the integrated design firm has completed a host of projects for the district, including George Washington Elementary School, James Madison Elementary School and Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy. LPA also recently started work on the aquatics center for Hector Godinez Fundamental High School.
