LPA Names Terri Lee New Director of Workplace

LPA Design Studios has promoted interior design veteran Terri Lee to the role of Director of Workplace. Lee will lead the interiors team across all LPA studios in California and Texas, focusing on LPA’s commitment to designing efficient, inspiring spaces that support the health and wellness of people who use them.

Terri replaces Karen Thomas, who retired in May after 40 years of building a strong interior team within LPA’s integrated design firm.

With more than 20 years of design management experience and strategic planning, Lee has spearheaded projects in all areas of workplace, including major corporate headquarters facilities, technology companies, professional firms and life science facilities. Her roster of clients includes Savills, Mazda North America, CalAmp, Cox Communications, Toshiba, Vans, Avanir, and Toyota.

“Terri’s leadership and experience in directing design teams has been an integral part of our firm’s success in California and Texas,” Wendy Rogers, CEO of LPA, says. “Her ability to understand and anticipate clients’ needs has been invaluable.”

In her new role Lee will lead the design team through strategic planning and programming, design and documentation, construction, and occupancy. She will focus on expanding business opportunities in untapped markets in California and Texas.

“I’m excited to continue LPA’s commitment to sustainability and designing healthy spaces for the wellness of people,” Lee says. “Each day I’m inspired and energized by the talent on our team and our integrated approach to each design.”

Prior to Lee’s role as Director of Workplace, she served as a Managing Director of Workplace for LPA’s Irvine Office, where she oversaw, organized, and guided the activities for project teams.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute, NCIDQ, is a Certified Interior Designer (CID), a LEED Accredited Professional with specialty in Building Design + Construction and Fitwell Ambassador.
