Irvine-based design firm LPA has opened an office in Dallas, the company’s sixth location and second in Texas.
The office is being led by Craig Drone, who has 30 years of design experience, much of which is with school districts in Texas.
LPA does work on urban, K-12 and higher education designs and corporate projects.
The firm was founded in 1965 by Leason Pomeroy III. In Orange County, it is known for its work at John Wayne Airport, Tustin Market Place, Blizzard Entertainment and Asics America, Laguna Niguel’s city center, the Park Place Reimaging in Irvine and Coastline Community College.
LPA also is known for its focus on sustainable design: spaces with lower energy and water use.
The company has more than 400+ employees. Its other Texas office is in San Antonio. The Dallas office is located at 1920 McKinney Ave.
