The Irvine office is located in the 200-acre LPA master planned University Research Park adjacent to the University of California, Irvine. LPA has been an integral part of the California architecture and development industry since its founding in 1965. The 55,000-square-foot space was one of the first LEED CI projects in the country when completed in 2004, with an open plan without private offices that emphasized sustainability and collaboration. The space is arranged to facilitate collaboration and open discussion of projects. Disciplines are connected, promoting a free flow of ideas that impact every project.
The space was the first of LPA’s working labs, where technologies for daylighting, water efficiency, natural ventilation and other sustainable components are tested and reviewed by LPA's integrated teams for use on future projects.
