Charles Williams combines his strong business background, architecture experience, project management skills and passion for technology to successfully develop teams that complete projects with transformational impact.
As an architect and Project Delivery Director for LPA, Charles leads the implementation of tools and workflows surrounding BIM, CAD, project management, technical practice and information management to promote a deeper understanding of design, higher levels of productivity and insight on project progress. Charles's focus on efficient and effective work systems correlates directly to how our integrated design team functions, which leverage technology to inspire the design process and effectively plan projects to ensure financial success and high levels of quality.
Local, meaningful projects like the Laguna Beach and Susi-Q Senior Center resonate the most with Charles. He feels proud to have worked on a project that offers a gathering place for families, neighbors and friends; something tangible he can refer to as a symbol of his professional efforts within his community.
Before joining LPA, Charles spent six years practicing residential architecture. His decision to become an architect was highly influenced by his family’s involvement in the construction industry for two generations. Charles received his Bachelor of Science in Design with a major in Architecture and a minor in Business from Arizona State University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and contributor to ARCHITECT and ENR magazines. He is the 2019 Chair of the AIA Technology in Architectural Practice Knowledge Committee and it’s Building Connections Congress conference.
