He translates his deep technical knowledge into accessible insights, making even the most complex systems and challenges understandable.
Miles has served as the primary client contact on several high-profile, confidential projects at LPA, including the design and completion of the firm’s first data center to use a triple friction pendulum base isolation system for mission-critical resilience. His work highlights an ability to lead design teams through complex projects from conceptual design to technical execution while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and rigorous quality standards.
Beyond project work, Miles is dedicated to teaching the next generation of architects. A natural mentor, he shares his expertise in high-tech systems through an adjunct professorship at Orange Coast College he has held since 2009 and by producing educational videos that demystify technical topics for his colleagues at LPA.
