Sharp Grossmont Hospital Operating Room Renovation and HVAC

The Sharp Grossmont Hospital Orthopedic Operating Suite Renovation and Operating Room Suite HVAC upgrade project is a Design-Build tenant improvement project of approximately 8,000 square feet, inside an existing OSHPD-1 building. The project consists of: the renovation of four of twelve existing operating rooms, to create enhanced Orthopedic Operating rooms, the addition of new HVAC system on the roof for the OR suite, replacing all 12 operating rooms air supply and distribution systems. The project team worked closely with the hospital to execute the work in four separate phases in order to provide minimal disruption to patient services.
In addition, this acute care renovation upgrades the ceiling-mounted equipment booms and infrastructure to accommodate new, state-of-the-art equipment, to better serve staff and improve the overall patient experience at the hospital.
