Frederick Braggs leads LPA’s finance teams, providing strategic direction and financial stewardship to merge business priorities with the firm’s larger mission. His work is focused on collaboration, building teams and providing financial security for clients and the firm.

Frederick brings more than 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry to the position, including leadership roles with Steinberg Hart, Gensler and HOK. His unique perspective is gleaned from assignments that ranged from project accounting to financial oversight of several large-scale projects across the U.S., China, and United Arab Emirates. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for moving beyond the customary accounting role to support project and practice leaders in fostering informed and transparent relationships with clients.

At LPA, Frederick is dedicated to maximizing the firm’s operational financial performance and strategic organizational development to ensure sustained profitability. He directs the firm’s treasury, budgeting, audit, tax planning, accounting, and real estate activities.

In addition, Frederick is involved in developing systems and structuring management teams to facilitate comprehensive and transparent financial performance management. He works with firm leaders to enhance the recruitment process and improve the career experience for LPA employees. He is also focused on continuing education, working with senior leaders and managers within the design space to translate brand awareness through a financial prism.

An associate member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Organization of Minority Architects, Frederick completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University. He also studied at The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned an MBA degree. Early in his career, he worked in the packaged goods industry before developing his deep interest in the unique value of architecture and engineering.
