Project Designer

Sacramento, California

Andrew Wickham is a national advocate for designing outdoor spaces that positively impact human experience and the natural world. He works with multiple organizations and is a frequent speaker at industry events focusing on the importance of designing resilient and sustainable landscapes that reduce carbon emissions and increase biodiversity while improving the user’s experience and enhancing financial outcomes for clients.

Andrew’s influence can be found on a wide range of education, civic and healthcare projects, including the transformation of the underused El Pescadero Park in Tracy, California, into a vibrant community destination anchored by a net-zero energy Multi-Generational Recreation Center. He also helped lead a team of designers to reimagine a dilapidated community pool in Rancho Cordova, California, which became a model for resurrecting an aging aquatic facility.

Andrew is dedicated to improving the practice of landscape architecture. In 2025, he served as the Advocacy Lead for the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan and is a long-time member of the Landscape Architecture Department Advisory Committee for California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In 2022, the ASLA California Sierra Chapter honored Andrew with the Legacy Award for more than a decade of outstanding contributions to the chapter and the field of landscape architecture.
