John C. Fremont High School
Los Angeles, California
John C. Fremont High School, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), has committed itself to the concept of small learning communities, which forms the foundation of its transformation. The scope of work includes the renovations of the main three-story administration/classroom building and the gymnasium and the construction of a new two-story student union, which will be home to a new library, kitchen and dining hall. LAUSD’s vision of transforming the campus will be anchored by a new façade to the main building, a new exterior entry plaza and a new consolidated parking area. The project is LEED Gold and CHPS verified for sustainability.
