The procurement, design, financing and construction of the County of Orange Civic Center complex has been a remarkable success story, illustrating how the public and private sectors can work closely together to create facilities that are affordable, efficient, smart, resilient and sustainable.
These complex features two new six-story buildings totaling over 500,000 SF, which will serve users, visitors and the public for years in an open, accessible environment, signaling a new era of responsive delivery of services to the citizens of Orange County. The collaboration between the County, Griffin Structures, LPA and Swinerton Builders focused on the goals of cost control and delivering the project on time, and on budget.
