LPA architects Melody Tang and Miguel Cuevas were joined by professionals from Swinerton to lead a guided field tour of County of Orange's Building 16 for students from local Santa Ana high schools.
Students learned about the background of Building 16, and Miguel and Melody shared their educational and career paths, exposing the students to different avenues to attain professional goals. The afternoon concluded with a tour of the six-story office tower under construction.
"The purpose of the field trip was to inspire the next generation of architects, engineers and contractors by showing them the real-world results of our work," Tang said.
