Harshda Prasad, SE, LEED AP, Senior Project Manager, Structural Engineering at LPA, was recently honored by San Diego Business Journal as one of its 2022 Women of Influence in Engineering.
SDBJ: Harshda Prasad Named Woman of Influence in Engineering
Prasad leads the engineering practice in San Diego for LPA, spearheading major civic, education, life science and biotech projects throughout San Diego while providing her technical expertise to the firm’s clients nationwide. Known firmwide for her empathetic leadership style, she is a passionate advocate for advancing women in the engineering profession. Prasad founded and leads LPA’s Women in Engineering Group and is currently in the process of founding a Women in Structural Engineering Group (WISE) for the Structural Engineers Association of San Diego (SEAOSD); Prasad also serves as treasurer for SEAOSD.
An LEED accredited professional with a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas, Prasad is a registered structural engineer and registered professional engineer. With more than 15 years of experience, Prasad served as a structural engineer for major landmarks nationwide including Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
